Professional Development Credits

We are pleased to announce that the 2020 PASAP Conference supports up to 14 hours of professional development credits through the following organizations:

PASAP  are Act 48 Approved Providers through the Pennsylvania Department of Education.  Participants can earn up to 14 hours of Act 48 credit (full conference attendance). Participants must provide their Professional Personnel ID (PPID) number when registering and must be scanned in to verify attendance at all sessions in order to receive credit. A survey evaluating each session attended must also be completed.
PASAP will offer Social Work credits again this year. A payment of $10 will be collected from interested participants at the time of conference check-in or when registration is completed. Confirmation of completed workshop attendance hours is forwarded to the University of Pittsburgh at the conclusion of the conference.  Certificates are then mailed directly to participants within a few weeks.

Attendees wishing to obtain PCB credits may submit an application to the PA Certification Board for individual approval. The application can be found on the PCB website at
http://www.pacertboard.org/ - click on “Education” at the top of the webpage; click on "Education and Trainer Forms;" and click on the "Individual Education Approval" form. There is a nominal fee to be submitted to PCB with your completed Individual Education Approval form and PASAP Letter of Attendance. The PASAP Letter of Attendance will be sent electronically following the conclusion of the conference.

In order for you to receive credit for each session attended, participants must be present for the entire session and need to be checked/scanned in. Please see a PASAP official to have your name badge scanned in order to confirm attendance.

In an effort to be fiscally and environmentally responsible, PASAP has "Gone Green." Your session and conference surveys are available electronically. Please visit the PASAP website or through the Conference App at the conclusion of your session and/or at the conclusion of the conference to complete these surveys. You must complete these surveys in order to receive your Act 48, Social Work, or other credit. The results of the surveys will be shared with conference speakers and will assist with future conference planning.
