PASAP offers professional development opportunities to school and child-serving agencies who support the Student Assistance Program in Pennsylvania. Professional development opportunities are offered by PASAP through webinars, regional workshops, and the annual conference. As a result, PASAP is offering a special recognition to Student Assistance professionals who are certified by the Pennsylvania Network of Student Assistance Services as having met the standards and competencies for the Pennsylvania Student Assistance Training and are approved by the Student Assistance Program Interagency Committee.

Continuing Education Credits
PASAP is an PDE Approved Act 48 provider. In order to receive credit for each workshop and conference session attended, participants must be present for the entire session and complete an evaluation survey for each session attended.
Act 48 credits for our webinars are not currently available through PASAP. We encourage webinar attendees to contact their local district Act 48 Committee to receive instructions on how to submit an application to receive Act 48 credit for each webinar attended. Most if not all school districts have a procedure in place as a part of their Act 48 plan. If approved, the district will submit the hours to PDE.
Social Work credits will be offered again this year. These credit hours satisfy requirements for LSW/LCSW, LPC and LMFTA. A payment of $10 will be collected from interested participants at the time of conference check-in. In order to receive credit for each keynote and breakout session, participants must be present for the entire session and complete an evaluation survey for each session attended. Confirmation of completed workshop attendance hours is forwarded to the University of Pittsburgh at the conclusion of the conference. Certificates are then mailed directly to participants within a few weeks. Please see a PASAP official to scan the QR code on your Conference ID badge at the conclusion of the session to assure your attendance is counted.
