As a result of increased bullying on Facebook, the social networking site recently launched two new safety features in conjunction with a White House summit on bullying. One of the new tools allows its users, often teens and younger children, to report incidents of bullying or abuse to the site’s administrators and members of their support system, including parents and teachers. In addition, Facebook will be making improvements to their Safety Center, offering videos, resources, and downloadable materials for parents on how to address incidents of bullying on Facebook.
