Non-Suicidal Self-Injury (N.S.S.I.): Etiology & Assessment

Gateway Rehab would like to thank our community partners by joining us in welcoming School Psychologists, Diane Teske and Bob VanDivner from Milton Hershey School as they present their research and facilitate a training in non-suicidal self-injury.

Objectives

  *   Participants will use the latest research to recognize, assess and respond to N.S.S.I. in youth.
  *   Participants will identify similarities between N.S.S.I. and addictive behaviors in addition to learning the association between N.S.S.I. and trauma.
  *   Participants will be trained in the utilization of an assessment tool to identify stages of N.S.S.I. and readiness for change.

Social Work, Act 48 & Nursing Credits available for $10.00
