LeeAnn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001 and her Masters Degree in Social Work with her Home & School Visitor Certification from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, LeeAnn began her career in the Emergency Room/Trauma Center at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh before accepting the position at Shaler Area School District.
LeeAnn is very passionate about her work. She feels strongly about the need to advocate for her students, in an effort to eliminate the barriers that interfere with their success. However, in addition to her passion for eliminating barriers at a local level, she also feels strongly about the need to eliminate the barriers that exist on a more global level in regards to policy. SAP exists to eliminate barriers to learning, but LeeAnn feels passionately about eliminating barriers that interfere with SAP success as well. She is honored to serve on the PASAP Board of Directors, and to excited to continue to broaden her professional network.
